(19,459 posts)It's an old one, and I first posted it a couple years ago. I don't have a lot of time to go out and look for something to photograph now, but I'm rapidly approaching the 15,000th post point and I want to do most of those leading up to it in the photo group; so, I'll probably re-post a couple more old ones to get there.

(7,346 posts)Might I ask where this is? It looks like an estuary or inlet, on SF bay somewhere? The water is so placid! And it is a nice picture.
Please feel free to post older pics! I post photos I took when I was traveling late last year and earlier this year...because really, nobody has seen them yet, so why not?

(19,459 posts)It's at a Yacht Club by Sausalito, on the bay.
A couple of the pics I'll post have been posted over the years. Nothing great (I'm definitely at the beginner level around here) but some of them are favorites of mine and it's been several years since I posted them.
I'll try not to spam the group excessively.

(7,346 posts)Sausalito!
My uncle lives in San Francisco...my Dad and I went down in 2001 to see him (they hadn't seen each other in 50 years!) and one day we spent there. I visited SF 3 times this past year and am planning on seeing him again in a few months (I'm going to spend a few months this winter in CA).
I know what you mean about spamming the group! For awhile I was enthusiastic and posted a bunch of photos but not so much anymore.

(19,459 posts)I come and go in spurts in the photo group. I've posted quite a bit here over the years, but have been pretty inactive the last couple.
