We spent 2 days at the FL Gulf for a

little get away. The last few months have been quite hectic. We had 2 family members (my sister and her aunt) pass within 2 days of each other and since then 2 friends passed recently so we packed up with out little Chihuahua and spent 2 days there. On Fri we ate at "the Hut" in John's Pass, Madeira Beach. Although we took quite a few pics I'll post two of my favs so I don't bore you.

sibling (she was 6 yrs older), our parents passed already, so at 64 I nearly feel like an orphan.

Thank you for the kind words on my picture. I wish I had taken my tripod with me. This camera is my new one - Nikon Coolpix L620. I used the zoom and know better because I'm not steady at all. LOL

We get to a certain age, and it happens too often.

The photos are great, and I especially love the John's Pass one....the light, the colors. Beautiful.

And regarding not posting photos because you don't get away often, poopy doo. You can take photos in your backyard or neighborhood without going far. No need to have a special event!
