A few interesting shots

Got a good moon shot yesterday evening. Just light enough to hold the camera steady. Just dark enough to get good detail.

The light is almost gone, but I really like the richness in the subtle color.

Same Japanese maple with morning light.

I love digital. It give you the opportunity to take chances that you wouldn't have taken with a roll of 20 or 36 exposure film. I wish my father had lived to see the digital age.

no hesitation to keep on clicking! I've taken over 4000 pics since I got my camera 11 months ago!

It isn't as though I didn't waste enough film with shots that didn't work the way I expected, even when I wasn't trying to take chances.

I only wish that I could see the shots in that tiny screen on my digital camera to know whether they have worked or not...but it really doesn't matter, does it?

So I never lacked for free film. I think it was just the idea of being limited to 20 shots no matter how many 20 shots you actually had.

And I bet that the developing was not cost-prohibitive either.

You are right, it would have been great to have had your father live to see digital photography come of age.

Looking forward to seeing some leaves like your photos!

The dark mauves and purples give it a nice velvety feeling. I love those colors, don't see enough of them!
