Rumor has it that the Oly OMD EM5 is discontinued and

will be replaced with a new model in Feb '15.

There are discounts down to $599 body only if anyone has been thinking about it.

Meanwhile, If you are in the mood for a real deal I have an Oly E620 with 14-42, 40-150 and an aftermarket 135-800 (28-800mm in 35 equivalent) with a bag to carry it all for $300. According to 4/3 Rumors the 620 is not discontinued although only the E5 is shown on the Olympusamerica.com site. Anyway it is still supported for service work in the event it is ever needed.

PM me if anyone is interested and we can work out the logistics.

be bought for between $225 used and $400 new. It uses the same sensor as the EM5, but lacks the bells and whistles of the EM5. Much of the functions normally performed by dials, wheels, and buttons are now on the touchscreen.

If you like manual lenses, micro 4/3 is a perfect platform. There's a wide range of adaptors for your manual lenses.

This is my current favorite $20 lens. I got in in the PK mount, which is shorter than the M42 mount.
