I could never understand people who won't let their pets on the furniture. It's mean to deny them comfort while the humans in the family get to sit there. If it's cloth furniture, get a blanket or cover and let them join everyone else. My cats were allowed everywhere they wanted to go - it was their home, too. Luckily they weren't interested in the kitchen counter and I have a leather sofa and loveseat.

LOL - I think we have the same sofa - Do the side seats recline? My two fur babies like to sing "You can leave your feet up" to the tune of "you can leave your hat on."
