Black Friday alert -- Sony A77ii

As some of you might know, I've been shooting with the Sony A77 for the past few years. I thought it worth mentioning that virtually everyone (B&H, Adorama, Amazon -- I would suspect it's a Sony promotion, so it should be available everywhere) is currently offering the latest, improved version (A77ii) for $300 off, plus a free Sony vertical grip (which normally costs another $300). The deal seems to apply across the board, whether you buy body-only (which I just did, since I already have a full set of A-mount lenses), or a body/lens combination.

I'm not trying to plug my own horse in the "D-SLR Wars," but the A77ii was already a great deal for the price, and this makes it much, much better. If you're looking for a prosumer-level camera, I highly recommend it.

If you don't want a DSLR, look at the Sony a6000.

BTW, the iPhone uses a Sony sensor.
