I'm OK, daughter stressed, has a cold-ish, and overreached with this party thing, but we shall see.

(130,865 posts)His grandfather, in the pictures, is Edward, his father is Ed, so we call him Eddie.
Who? What? Where? They'll have to deal with it! I'm in MD most of the time!
He IS cute, and friendly and fun! He has a cousin, 5 months old today, in MD. Here's JOHNNY, on Thanksgiving Day:

(42,770 posts)has been living with a girl for years. And, I hate to sound
like the typical nagging mom "When are you going to get married and have
kids !!!! "

(130,865 posts)my daughters, 30 (almost! Have to remember HER birthday Jan 22!) and 26, who are not on good terms, had their babies so quickly in succession. Amy, the older, married in '11, and Eddie came along 2-ish years later. The girls' father, my estranged husband, passed suddenly, in 2013, before Eddie was born. Julie, the younger, wanted to marry with her father 'giving her away,' but also wanted a baby. After trying for a while, after her father had passed, Johnny came along. Julie married last month.
Everyone's happy now (tho missing their father,) and I'm pleased. I never had to 'nudge' them. I recall my mother would ask 'what's new?' which was the signal, 'anyone marriageable around?' After we married, I was 39 at the time, I immediately became pregnant, so no more questions!
Long story short: IT HAPPENS!
