Wandered around with the macro rings on the camera some more today and got these shots I thought were interesting, the caterpillar might be an inch long, the fly is much smaller.

The caterpillar is not an inch worm, it is probably a type of tussock moth caterpillar. If so, those bristles could sting it you touch it.
It is really cool to see these up close, even if I am not a fan of insects. The photos are fun to see.
