Deep South continued - a few more bits of color

Hibiscus -since it is backlit it makes me think of Celebration's love for that



Water - the sunset wasn't that great but the water had special character



Immersion - Spanish Moss



Magnolia Blossoms in a Spanish Moss setting- about as Southern as it gets

I too like the Spanish Moss trees . . . we have absolutely nothing like that around here!

Most of the time it eventually kills the tree.

Anyway, very nice photos. It's funny in a way, I've seen scenes like so many times since I was a kid growing up in Florida that I just kind of took it for granted. I don't see Spanish Moss much anymore, too far north for it now, but plenty of Magnolia trees and Dogwoods blooming every spring.

when I lived in Texas as a teenager. I love their fragrance.

My favorite here is the Spanish moss. It's almost like an abstract painting.

Hibiscus !!! Might have to try getting a shot like this once mine is outside. Like the rest too though the Magnolia has me wondering what is attacking its leaves.
