Goldenrod at the Golden Hour

Used an old Suntar telephoto and extension tubes. It's not the greatest lens, but 135mm 2.8 lenses are relatively easy to get right. I like the results when used in good light. There's a lot to be said for $20 lenses.

They will give temporary relief when the Claritin fails. Chew a couple pieces to release the oils. It works.

It is the lowly ragweed that also blooms at the same time, but you don't see the "flowers" since they are tiny and green. But I guess you will probably run into ragweed if you are out looking for goldenrod. Just don't give the lovely goldenrod a bad rap.

Pics coming, and as it's along my path it's easy to find and capture. Will beware of ragweed, which really got me when I was a kid. We'll see what happens this year.

Apparently, you found some amorous bugs of some sort....I have no idea what they are.

Great pictures, and I am very impressed if this is not a great lens.

Also, Japan makes good glass, and has for a long time. This lens has 8 blades and a built-in extendable hood.
