Question about shadow clipping

Ive noticed that the last couple of images I've uploaded to Flickr show some cyan coloration in areas of shadow clipping. I don't see it in IE10 on my laptop but it is very noticeable on my i-phone 6.

Any ideas?

Edit: I've just started shooting and processing in RAW. I've only noticed it on a couple of images, but could RAW format be part of the issue?

I also notice that images on my i-Phone always show greater detail than my laptop.

I wonder if I have something set wrong somewhere...

There's some other factors, that are above my pay grade.

However, I do know that the vast majority of pic hosting sites are using various compression schemes which are going to reduce quality. My guess is here that Flickr recognizes that you are on a mobile platform and is using a more aggressive compression scheme that is no doubt generic to all mobile devices. So the reduction in quality is going to be more noticeable on a newer phone with a better display.

It's like my Spanish; I know enough to get into a fight, but not enough to get out of one.

Now, gotta go get the girls.

Thanks again.

Cyan coloration in clipped shadows is often an option in editors to show the shadow clipping.

I don't think it's clipping. Both of these images show it, one more than the other. The first is a crop from the second:

Rather than processing in full b&w, I desaturated colors, but I didn't desaturate either the aqua or magenta (channels?) enough. I wasn't looking at the image close enough in Lightroom, and didn't see it until I looked at it on the I-phone. Then I went back and looked again at the images on Flickr with my laptop, and yup, there it is...

It's a little embarrassing because it's as plain as the nose on your face once you see it. It's also visible on my laptop now that I know where to look, which is along that middle row of trees and cloudy fog that runs from the lower left to upper right.

Thanks for offering to help. It's the kind of thing that makes this the best room on this board, I think.

Then I read your description at the bottom. Now I see it. Yes, not desaturating enough will do that.
