I would like to get some feedback on ideas for the theme for the March contest.
My husband and I are going out of town on Sunday--celebrating my Medicare birthday!--and I'd like to settle on a theme within
this next week. My plan would be to start accepting submissions AFTER the Winter Seasonal Contest has finished, probably
around the middle of March, which would coincide with the return from our trip.
I've been looking back through the list of past themes, and here are some ideas for something we haven't done in a while.
Color. I'd suggest either yellow or pink since we're bound to get a lot of icy/white photos for Winter.
Animal Planet. We haven't had a contest focused on animals for quite some time.
Textures. Some photographers have recently shared some stunning photos that were examples of texture, and we haven't had this
as a topic for quite some time.
Or, does anyone else have an idea for a theme that they'd like to suggest?

They are all fine with me. The single word one is intriguing, but I think off the top that I could use any photo and do a single word title.
Maybe when I must it's not that easy.

(31,382 posts)I'm moved to add it as a result of my capture of the Northern Harrier hawk out my window this afternoon. The concept is the shot that just happened. Either you--the photographer--
were in the right place at the right time for an event, or the subject came to you unexpectedly. The light was right. You saw something out of the corner of your eye. Something
that just happened.
