(5,113 posts)i placed a crystal ball on a table on a sheet of black paper. manually focues on the ball making sure the few through the ball was in focus. used a very high f stop,as high as i could for maximum DOF
The first one i used aurora hds on (even though its just one shot)
#2 is with topaz glow and #3 with topaz impression
Had to be carefull since the sun was out as the ball acts like a magnifying glass. ended up burning my hand a little from the magnified sun hitting it

this came from me looking at some old photos i took. i shot a crystal ball in new orleans that I had turned into a "magic" type of shot a few years ago and so i thought id try something along those lines"
this is the shot i used for my inspiration
