Related: About this forumKotzebue, finally!
We finally got a rainy day, so I was able to finish up my Kotzebue photos without feeling guilty for not being in the garden weeding. If you're interested in checking them out, they're at my SmugMug site here: https://northernvisions.smugmug.com/Vacation/Kotzebue-May-2016/i-v5mGLJC
I probably won't be around here much going forward, particularly not until after November, so this will be the last post for at least a while. I'll still be posting pics at my Northern Visions site when I can or YouPic here: https://youpic.com/photographer/lindascates1/ And of course, Facebook. PM me if you want to be friends. DU is not doing much more than frustrating me lately, so I'm out of here for the time being. If I have something amazing to share, I might pop back in.
Love to you all.

(20,886 posts)Love your doctored cemetery photo. Really nice.
I'm sticking around to see if the Broccolis are thrown in the recycling bin after tomorrow. I can ignore the normal nastiness, but I can't deal with the fact that obvious trolls have been allowed the run of the place. So what happens after Tuesday determines where I will spend most of my time. I can be found on JPR under a similar name. They are working on making it more photo friendly. If they can do that, it may be the place to establish a new photo group. Check in from time to time. They estimate new software will be up and running in a couple of weeks.

(46,436 posts)but I'm definitely looking forward to the new format. The navigation is the only issue I have there. I think I mentioned something to you there about pumping up the photo group. You might not have seen my post.
Yeah, the Broccolis ... Ugh. I could say so much, but I won't. Bad enough that I was purged from the jury pool, I don't want to risk anything more draconian since I might want to come back here sometime. That's mainly why I'm taking a break. I got tired of hitting the "ignore" button.
Anyway, I'll be around and anybody who wants to will be able to find me.

(22,380 posts)I don't really do Facebook, but I'll find you anyway, and if you post photos of the children, remember me and send me a link.
I also got kicked off the jury pool - that enrages me - I specifically and courteously wrote to Skinner about it but he did not bother to give me an answer.
I would not want to leave here, but maybe I will get left in more ways than I want to imagine.
I'm expecting to see you and your very special photography again after the election process is over.

Thanks!

anymore. Usually in between having to serve on a jury or so. Then I get frustrated and leave. Usually the whole computer. Will catch you on FB though.

(31,373 posts)Me, too.
It's only the Photography group and The Lounge that keeps me here.
I belonged to a group some years ago that used the same software that JPR is using: it's definitely not user and really not
photo friendly. Even though I was an early joiner at JPR, I hardly even check in there.
Me, too. I was booted from juries.
Sending you a PM for fb.
