Sorry I post and interact so infrequently in this forum. During academic semesters it's hard to find time. I have a stack of exams to grade so I was in denial this weekend. I planned this Sunday photo shoot out on Humboldt Bay's south spit, but the weather wasn't ideal. Yesterday was spectacular, but today was overcast and moody. Here are some of the photos I took. This is one of my favorites. Nikon D7200, ISO 100. Tokina 12-28 f/4, 23mm, f/18, 10-stop ND, 16.0s.
That's the southern end of Humboldt Bay on the right, and the Pacific Ocean on the left. Nikon D7200, ISO 100. Tokina 12-28 f/4, 23mm, f/11, 1/60s.

(36,281 posts)It's sharp. On a tripod, with remote trigger and mirror lock up, it is a superb lens. I do lust after a faster wide angle zoom, but until the day comes, I'll be happy with this lens.
