3. Taken on the beach in Solana Beach, CA last August

when we were there for the wedding of one of my nephews. I loved how the water receded from the rock as
the tide was going out and left a heart-shaped swirl in the sand around the rock.

your Three Graces makes me so very much wish I liked Halloween. A photo so brilliantly capturing these people - I absolutely adore it's perfection.

I've studied their makeup & taken notes! A banner made of colorful thread spools - wow.

9. There's some real pros doing the makeup and costumes.

This couple shows up every year.

8. The Thriller parade is so good for portraits because nobody smiles.

I leave before it gets dark because it gets very crowded.

Thousands of people line the street to watch the parade. This year they had so many dancers they had to break it up into three groups, each with their own Michael Jackson.

Hi folks, I have started this thread for postatomic. I had hoped he would step up to take over. I am not giving up hope and I'll keep this submission thread open until Tuesday.
In the meantime please keep the entries coming, we will somehow get this show on the road after that, so we can finish in November.
