not long after I moved into my current home, in southern MD, a gentleman came by offering photos of my place, and asked if I'd like to buy them. I said YES, and they hang in my t.v. room now. A photographer in a real plane took it, as I recall he told me. Here's one:

I've seen quite a few originating from Australia for some reason. Most are video, but just do a Google for aerial or hover photography. It's big in Real Estate right now.
