They give you a certificate for landing there for bragging rights.

Nice place and friendly people. Wouldn't mind going back.

I've flown a MU-2 and a Lear 55 into Leadville. The Lear was very fuel-limited coming out in the summer. Had to hop over to Pueblo to refuel for a flight to Boston.

Not really a problem for me to get out of there as I was airborne in about 2,000'. I suspect most jets are going to be fuel limited getting out of there if they can even make it at all. I stopped at Pueblo on the way there. Nice little airport and friendly FBO.
