I want to get started on the contest for October, and wonder how you would feel about any of theses suggestions.Seeing double ---- in honor of Octoberfest
Monuments & Memories ----- in honor of the controversies about the statues.
This reminded me of a song ----- in honor of the music that gets stuck in one's head
Doors and Gates ----- just because they can be so beautiful and varied
I'll start a poll about these, run it for a few days, we'll see what develops.
If you have a suggestion of a theme you would like to see, let me know and I'll incorporate it.

I voted........
I'll let this run another day and then, in all probability, we will go search for unusual or beautifully positioned doors or gates. We have an exhibit going on in town about Georgia O'Keeffe, her times, her contemporaries, and her art.
I learned she bought a farm in New Mexico because she fell in love with a door on the property. She said: she simply had to own that door.
I'll go see if I can find an image of the many she painted incorporating her sense of that door, and if I do I will insert it here.

This is my first try at uploading and inserting an image from imgur.
I have had to give up on photoshop. But I have not yet learned to size the thing. Can anyone help me - I hate figuring things out when I can just be shown.
