DonViejo is blocking me at every outlet. I am not happy. Blocked from GD because I wanted to publish this pic there.
FLICKR IS DOWN
I'm outta here!

(112,920 posts)if/when we point out its a Moonie news site. Why does he see DemoTex as a target for removal?
He's a photographer, and has served on fire look out posts for fire services.
blm
(112,920 posts)He removes his RW sourced posts IF repliers revolt against the source. Seemed odd that anyone here would need to be told a source like WashTimes is RW propaganda.

(112,920 posts)You seemed surprised at the time when you got some backlash for it. You then removed it.

(60,536 posts)to be a reputable publication. However, any and all OP's I have posted since January 2014 are in my journal. Please feel free to peruse it and point out articles from right-wing publications. Here's the link to my Journal: https://www.democraticunderground.com/~DonViejo

(60,536 posts)be a backlash, could there? But, please continue to smear, insult and harass me.

(112,920 posts)that the article was from the Moonie Times, but it was. You wouldnt be the first person to make that mistake, or the last.
What is with the angry tone? I prefer straightforward exchanges minus the bitterness I direct only towards the fascist wing of the GOP. If you were a long timer here you would know that about me. Many of us oldies that are left here tend to be the straightforward types.

(115,674 posts)You have that wrong. You may have a personal issue with Don, but Please learn about dus's moderating system before slinging false accusations. Too many long time duers don't understand how this works.
Here is a link on moderating system.

Demo had a thread locked in gd for not meeting the sop (statement of purpose) for that forum and was referred to other forums to repost it in. Several Hosts agreed with this, it was not unilateral. Sometimes a post doesn't fit one form or group's soo and gets locked. There are other forums and groups to post in. This is a simple matter that happens all the time. Nothing goes on your record. It's a simple matter.
More Hosts are needed, if qualifying duers want to volunteer to help decide if an op meets the sop of a forum. Click on "about this forum" at the top of each forum to find the info and link to do so.
Demo then posted about it in GD, which got locked by the majority of duers serving on the jury as "interfering with moderation" or whatever the specific wording is. And reposted several other times. 5 of which were locked by different duers on juries.
At least 4 of 6 random duers who were online last night needed to vote to hide each of those posts. Once you are on a jury, you can't serve again for several hours.
Immediately after a Community Standards alert is sent our software begins to seat a Jury by randomly flagging members who are currently browsing DU. Members are excluded from serving if:
they have their "Willingness to serve on a DU Jury" option set to "Unwilling"
they are ignoring the alerted member
they are blocking DU mail from the alerted member
they have replied to the alerted member within the last 24 hours
they have alerted on the alerted member within the last 24 hours
they have posted in the thread which contains the alerted post
they are on the alerted member's Jury Blacklist
To sum up, please review the moderation system to better understand it. One person did not "remove Dell's posts." Thank you for reading.

(112,920 posts)I also have a sense of this board in its entirety. Not all hides are judged correctly because fewer and fewer members here are able to apply context as demonstrated over years of postings.
And that is MY judgement.

(115,674 posts)Don was responsible for removing Demo's posts.
That's all. I hope demotex is ok.
So do I. He is a true representative of this sites integrity.
