While on a bike ride the other day I spotted these "ducks in a row".
Taken with my phone, zooming in and color has not been enhanced. Adequate photo, but I think it's funny!
The green stuff in the water, surprising, is called duck weed.

(118,620 posts)they vanish off to the sides. I don't know if it is considered an algae or what type of plant. But it is a very fine layer floating on top of clear water.
