I was able to get a photo pass for 311 at the Cannabis Cup in OKC.
The sun definitely helped in this situation as I didn't have to deal with low-light on the stage coupled with lights!

(149,560 posts)You must have been sitting up very close to the stage!
These are excellent photos, very sharp and clear, with great colors and details!
I hope you will post more of your photos, concerts or otherwise, in the future.

Annie had a bandolier of about 30 rolls of film-- probably x36. Means to me, she was taking photo after photo and editing in the darkroom. Out of 1,000+ photos, one or two had to be excellent.
That doesn't mean she didn't understand concert lighting and so forth.

P.S. I have decades of rock concert photo experience from the high-speed film camera age, but the brave new world of digital photography has turned me back into a rookie. I wandered over here wondering if rock concert photos would be taken seriously here, and -- well, let's just say that I've fallen in love with DU all over again!

I've been going to some free concerts and experimenting with various old stock lenses on a Nikon 7100/7200

(97 posts)I got it in 2016 on close-out. I am just using the stock lens, I love the thing. I still use my old film SLR as well.
