He turned up again on the wildflower bouquet so I took advantage again.
Then this little guy showed up. Not my best but he's only 1 mm across. This is 2.5 life size.
And while I'm sitting at my 'puter processing the above I feel something on my arm. He hopped from my arm to the leather love seat and I got this:
It may be discomfiting to a few of us but unless you live in one of the Polar Circles you're never more than 6' from a spider. There's one living in my shower too. I can co-exist with just about anything.

(3,364 posts)They are gorgeous little creatures. These are beautiful shots. Thank you for photographing them and not squishing them. We had a Daddy Long Legs living in our shower for quite a while. I didn't mind as they don't scare me.

(28,713 posts)But we have found a bat, a rhinoceros beetle, toads, frogs and a lot of cool bugs. The tarantula we put on the garden. Within an hour ants covered it. Two days later no ants no tarantula.

(112,424 posts)About the spider in your shower. . .years ago, I had a spider web in the corner above my shower. (Don't ask, I have no idea!). It looked to me like there was a different spider there every few days. I found it fascinating.
