Note about photo sizing - how I learned

After photo bucket became unaffordable all my photos were too large for posting (I did it anyway - much to the chagrin of the hosts) or I begged for help.

Here is how I size them now:

https://postimages.org/
It simply asks what size you want it to be, and then uploads it correctly.

the reason to downsize i pic is for band width. A big photo takes a long time to load on slow connections.
