Related: About this forumRight now, we have 15 submissions and there are 3 days till I post the prelims.
I am now opening up the submissions to a second photo, for those who have already submitted one.
For those who haven't submitted any photos, you may put in one or two!
Let's see if we can't get a bit closer to 30!

Was this one really bombed out during the war?

The competition is pretty tough this time. We have some great photographers here. I'll be happy just to place.

(149,523 posts)I will most likely not insert your commentary into the photo. All I need is the title and your title is right on!

(3,155 posts)I had posted this lovely photo of an old tow truck I found by the side of the road in Three Rivers, California. I still love that pic, and I think it's a winner. But, the more I thought about it, the more I wasn't sure that it really qualified as "abandoned." It was definitely old and retired, but I realized there is air in the tires and there isn't any vegetation growing on it. I think someone is taking care of it. Maybe it was OK, but I wouldn't want anyone to think I was bending the rules.
Anyway, I replaced it with another wonderful photo, an abandoned hogan, which is a traditional dwelling, on the Navajo Reservation. There is no question that this one qualifies, and I also think it's a better image.
Thanks!
Ross
