Whoot whoot. This thread is for questions, comments and idle picci chatter about the October Photography Contest.

It is that time of the month again. The submission thread for the competition is here:

Please pop along and make sure you submit a picci. HAB's theme is "Roadscapes, rural or urban, old or new". which is great! Also please cast the DU net far and wide and prompt others who you know would be interested in getting involved but who may for whatever reason missed the launch, or are hesitant to get involved.

8. I love the fact that as I was about to post my pic I got a business call

heartstrings had not posted their picture when I started the process but by the time I hit post theirs was already up.

So we have the Road less travelled immediately followed by the Road well travelled. A marvellous juxtaposition for this contest!

14. My photo was of the sunken road to

St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, England. Taken from the Mount.

As the title of my photo says, it's only passable at low tide.

So here is my photo of the road to St. Michael's Mount at low tide, this time looking at the castle.
