First Madame Secretary, now Chicago Justice.

The network tv dramas are doing a number on trump. Madame Secretary had an episode where the fictional president of the Philippines was modeled on trump. Last night, Chicago Justice had a local real estate mogul who was 45 to the life. He even had a daughter who worked as his CFO. He cheated his subcontractors and caused an accident where his son-in-law was killed. The presiding lawyer in the case came right out and called the character a malignant narcissist. When he got on the stand, the character rambled and boasted, much like trump does.

I have seen some other tv dramas that had characters who were trump-like. I can't recall that any of the characters were as developed as in these two dramas. TV is eviscerating 45 in any way they can.

Did anyone else see this program?

It's hard to tell who the Philippine president is modeled upon, tRump or Duerte. I watch Madame Secretary every week, but we spent that time visiting with our sons on a great Mother's day for my wife (no DVR!). I know it is a dramatization but the show gives a sense of the real complexity of issues and problems that the government must deal with. This stands against the simple minded non-administration that is leading us to the edge of "The Cliffs of Insanity." (A "Princess Bride" reference.)
