Homeland... too close for comfort

We started watching only last year. I understand that the first seasons took place in the Middle East and in Europe, away from whatever was happening in this country.

But this season ... many in rural area are fighting the government. A radio host - Limpdick? Alex Jones? incite against the president and eventually, of course, shots are fired and many died.

We saw them bringing boxes of AR- something, and spouse commented: this is why they need these weapons, to fire on federal agents.

And I am watching this and I know that it will not take much to have similar confrontations in real time.

Shuddering, really.

You might like watching the series from the beginning, if you can. Maybe from library or on demand?

spouse did, some.

Perhaps earlier seasons would explain how such an unstable person like Carrie can have such an important position with the CIA.
