Hawaii Five-0 Season Finale

Why why CBS must you leave huge plot lines hanging? Also, I always hate it when they leave the fate of a main character in doubt until the next season. At this point, I'm going to roll with the idea that CBS does not have the guts to kill off Grace Park "Kono" so it's probably his wife who dies. Either way, nothing brings me greater joy than seeing HPD headquarters bombed out.

for the long time before the next season....it about marks the end of its popularity for me. I used to enjoy the show, Medium, but they left off with one of those cliff hangers one season, and I just quit caring anything about it. I don't even like it when they do it from one show to the next week. Sometimes it's too involved to be done in one show, and so sometimes I can see it through the next week. But at the end of the SEASON??? That's just weak.

...do the producers/networks really think we'll forget to tune in to the new episodes if there wasn't some compelling storyline that was left unanswered? I tuned out of Medium for exactly that reason, in a family-based drama cliff-hangers were stupid, and they resisted for the longest time...

But seriously, if you were a character in these dramas wouldn't you be thinking "why is it every single year AT THE SAME TIME something wildly unpredictable and dramatic happens...?"

I honestly think it's a sign of weak writing, and is an insult to the viewing public (like they actually give a crap about that..)

Take a look at 'The Mentalist'....it's lead character Patrick Jane apparently shoots another person in the final episode of the year...just like he did LAST year....if I were a character in that series I'd have them write it so that he can't pick up a gun anymore...I dunno...break both of his arms...but seriously, they're going to pull this weak sauce back-to-back???

As for H5O I really wish they'd make their minds up, either Kono is staying or she goes, and if she goes they're completely mental, not only is she eye candy (and oh boy is she ever) but she's also a tough, complex character which is a rarity in that cardboard character cutout show. I think the teaser "H5O loses one of their own" means the cop that got shot in the first five minutes of the show...or Kim's wife...but if Kono is gone, so am I...

Aloha!

...but it's kinda lame when they put the survival of a main character in substantial doubt. NCIS did it last night too, might be no more Ducky, heart attack on the beach. Everyone else in a bomb blast.

I think Kono will probably live. If they wanted to kill her, they would have shot her. They'll do a dramatic scene where she breaks free and rises to the surface. I think Chin's wife is probably dead. She wasn't a major character. Hawaii Five-0 is doing alright in the ratings.
