Survivor Caramoan - Episode 3 Discussion Thread - NO SPOILERS PLEASE

Another "cool kid" bites the dust. Let this be a lesson to all the pretty future players, so not form a cool kid group. It will be your undoing. Especially if you are not the physically strong cool kid.

But I think Shamar ended any chance for himself last night. His decision to try to boot Eddie instead of Hope by telling her that she could keep herself was just not well done. If he wanted to do it, he needed to either go all in and try to manipulate the votes. Hope was not smart enough to pick up on his plan. If he flat out told her that she was going in the second vote after the tie, but that he had a plan to keep her if she promised to be loyal to him the following week, he might have gotten some mileage. Instead, we now hove the two physical cool kids left very weak, so Sherry and Co,. can take them and not need Shamar. I am impressed with Sherri. She handled Shamar enough to get him to play and win this week, but I think even she has to know he has to be dumped soon. He will explode.

Can not let this episode pass without commenting on how awesome pink underpants was telling how he uses Larry Bird and Magic when he plays basketball and how he is "old school."

the other idol was found when Malcomb stuck his hand in a tree and what do you know, they found it. I swear there is a guy with idols dropping them in front of the survivors.

The IC was very good. Swim out, untie a heavy chest, drag it to shore, grappling hook a bridge and drag the chest over the bridge. Prize is immunity as well as some ugly few chairs, pillows and a TARP. The newbies looked good early on, but the favorites won again. An interesting choice to split the vote and not to put reynold in the vote. I would certainly have put him and hope instead of Hope and Eddie, to at least scare him into playing it next time.

Tribal was more about Shamar. He has to go soon. But this week it was Hope.

I just knew Malcolm would find he idol. I wish I new how long it took really. Editing makes it seem like it really does fall into their hands. I liked the challenge also. I don't believe I've seen that before. Shamar is quite plainly unpleasant to be around I think. His assertion that "he is not like that" when it comes to game makes me question why he even bothered coming. I knew he wasnt gonna walk tho. But I do agree with your assessment about how sherry is handling it all. She'll need alot of hose skills, come merge. Phil does rule lol. He just makes me laugh. Nutty, but I sense he's a good dude. I could be wrong.. I think anyone who tries to trust Brandon is crazy. That guy is a wildcard I would not want to be allied with.

He can not handle this game. It brings out the worst in him. I think that "burn down the shelter" was foreshadowing some breakdown. I suspect he loses it and really destroys something. No one should trust him. I think Shamar would be a great guy to hang out with and watch football, but on an island where it is a constant struggle, it is not his element.

harder every week. I wonder if he's ever even seen Survivor...it seems like he heard about a show where you can win a million bucks if you can outlast everyone else. Having done some tours in Iraq and being a strong guy, he figured he had a good chance. However, he didn't consider the social game. Sherri is doing a great job with him.

Here's a link to KO's interview w/Shamar:

I agree about Hantz...he seems real close to the edge unless it's the editing. I wish Phillip would wear some pants.

So do I. Although it is not related at all, the funniest Laurel and Hardy movie I ever saw was a short silent movie by them called, "Putting pants on Phillip." It is funny. Survivor Phillip is not.
