until about 6 months ago. I am totally addicted to it and already have seen a lot of the episodes several times since TBS shows it so much. The whole cast is perfect, and, of course, Jim Parsons deserves every award he gets for his role as Sheldon Cooper. For some reason my 35 year old daughter doesn' t share my enthusiasm for this show, but I will keep trying to convert her.

We are hooked! We watch the reruns on cable channels.

It is so funny, witty, clever, romantic, and smart.

Night Court and Taxi are in my top 10. I always enjoy reruns of Mary Tyler Moore and the Dick Van Dyke Show. News Radio was very underrated. It was a funny show. I Love Lucy is also in my top 10 and set the standard to which all couple comedy is compared. Welcome to the party! Enjoy the big bang.

He is a delightful surprise.
Best of all, Mr. Dixie and I both like this show...our tastes often are much different.

Any other current/recent shows out there like Big Bang?

how he was originally approaching the show with a different personality, more in the "normal" vein, less in a My mother had me tested vein. Anyway, his is a good actor and this is a character.

Also late to the party! Even though I don't normally watch awards shows, I was aware that Jim Parsons kept winning for comedy. I wondered what the heck was the big deal about this guy? Well, now I know! He is great as Sheldon. And all of the other actors in the show are excellent as well. Each one seems so good in their parts....Amy, Raj etc. Bernadette's sweet/beastly persona. All so good! Of course so much is due to the great writing.

And as an unrepentant nerd myself, I love that they have some of the real Star Trek actors on. And Steven Hawkings! Ok, calm down. I don't watch much tv, so finding a show that's so fun is really a treat.
