'Dancing With the Stars' Season 17 cast: Valerie Harper, Leah Remini and more

http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/09/dancing-with-the-stars-season-17-cast-valerie-harper-leah-remini-and-more.html

•Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi from MTV's "Jersey Shore."
•Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson
•Actress Valerie Harper, after being diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this year.
•Brant Daugherty from "Pretty Little Liars."
•Singer/songwriter Christina Milian
•Everyone's favorite scientist, Bill Nye
•Elizabeth Berkley from "Saved by the Bell" and "Showgirls."
•Corbin Bleu, a Disney channel alum who was part of the "High School Musical" series of films.
•"Glee" star Amber Riley
•Country comedian Bill Engvall (the "here's your sign" guy)
•Reality TV star Jack Osbourne (son of Ozzy and Sharon)
•Actress Leah Remini of "The King of Queens."

Boy I could do without Snooki. I love the addition of Bill Nye. And this year's ringer is Corbin Bleu. And the sentimental fav will be Valerie Harper.

Actually ever sine she was on the ratings have gone down dramatically.

I think they did the right thing this time. No real controversial stars. Except maybe Leah Remini. No-one political. Please DWTS stay away from politics!!

That's when I thought I could find a better use of my time than to watch her partner drag that board around the floor!

Brisdull stomped around like a cow.

I am not graceful. But I am not planning on appearing on DWTS.

Jennifer Beals has been asked many times to appear on that show. She says they could back a truckload of money up to her door, and she would not do it. She is not a dancer, she says. I am glad she is not willing to humiliate herself.

Some of the contestants are there for fun, and are good sports. Some of them are trying to make a point. I prefer the people who are simply having fun and learning something. It is a fluffy show, a guilty pleasure.
