Helix on SyFy is surprisingly good!

I know SyFy has a reputation of putting out cheesy shows, but they've struck gold with this one. The first 3 episodes can be watched online or on your cable's on demand service. This isn't a paid endorsement, I just don't want another good show to be canceled!

1. I enjoyed it

but if it keeps up this pace,I don't know - it is hard to follow, I had to roll back a few times to watch again and had captions on so as not to miss a word - that is a lot of work to watch a show. .

2. I need to re-watch it.. I kind of wandered off somewhere in the middle of the two ep premiere.

I wasn't that impressed, but it could be that I just wasn't paying attention.

3. I caught it on a tv blog last week before the pilot aired or else Iw ould have missed it,

seems like a keeper to me.

4. Ron Moore (of BSG) is involved with this one (as exec. producer & writer),

so I thought it might be good, and I agree: it is. I noticed that it has some of the elements that worked well for BSG (for instance: an austere, enclosed, and virtually inescapable environment). I am hoping the rest is as good as the pilot!

5. I watched it again.. withholding judgement for a few episodes.

I had to force myself to maintain attention, which is usually not a problem for me.

If I'm too distracted the first time, it's nearly impossible to pay attention the second time around. But I really like this show so far!

I just randomly watched the 6th episode of Helix and I am very impressed by the show.
