Survivor Cagayan - Episode 2 Discussion Thread - No Spoilers please on future episodes

Another good episode. We learned that the Brains might actually be able to do puzzles, but they CAN NOT pass water to each other. I think they learned that losing two strong castaways the first two out of the gate leaves a very hard hole to climb out of in terms of physical strength, but that another team can give it away, so do not give up.

So the nerds started the episode fresh off a double eviction. Spencer knows he is on the bottom. as if that was not depressing enough, a classic survivor monsoon crushed them with rain and surf. All of the survivors in all the camps were soaked to the bone. .

The jock camp was down in the rain too. But Tony came clean to Sara that he is a cop. Love Survivor and twitter, so she said they form copsrus and of course the hashtag #coprus, was flashed on the screen. Tony is funny and my love for Sarah took a nosedive as she is just way too trusting of Tony.

Once the tree mail arrived and the nerds found out there was a water passing challenge and a maze, they went into the water to practice. They were all terrible, but Tasha and J’Tia seemed ot have something worked out.

the IC was a good one. Fill a bucket with water, then throw the whole bucket to tribemante 2, who throws just the water to 3, who throws the water to 4 who fills a vat. Once it gets heavy enough it releases a ball and you move to the maze, where you must turn the maze itself to move a ball to the exit on the bottom of the maze using gravity and spinning the maze to the right opening.

The jocks dominate and the models are doing great too. The brains are so bad its hysterical. Tasha and J'tia can't keep the bucket in the air and it spills over constantly. J'Tia is a physical nightmare and the decision to keep her is costing them. Finally they finish part one, but after the jocks already won and the hotties had a substantial lead.

But the brains actually played smart. Spencer did a solid job and the unexpected comeback turned the nerds into winners, or at least not losers. Bonus, in addition to immunity, the jocks got a big tarp and blankets and pillows. the nerds got a tarp. If this rain keeps up, that is gold.

so right way its clear that brice is the target. Brice thinks he is safe because he has a deal with Jeremiah and Morgan. HUGE mistake. Never have an alliance that is not the Majority. Being in an alliance of 3 means a tie. You need to get one more to make it work. Too late to try to secure that vote. Jeremiah was great. He saw the numbers and played himself into an alliance of 4 with him being the only one who really has any relationship with the one on the outside. Morgan will need him, and if he wants he can set up a new alliance of 3 and break up the other two girls, which will probably appeal to LJ. I think Jeremiah made the right move.

They split the vote to be sure there was no idol in play, which we know there is not, but who knows how it can play out. Sorry Brice. A three-way tie with Brice, Morgan and Alexis getting two votes apiece. The revote sent Brice packing. Morgan needs to find a new partner. I hope she does not go soon. I am still betting that bra/bikini top will lose the battle to hold those giant boobs in.

Also, props to Tony for hiding the clue to the idol he already has. good move.
Props to LJ for finding the idol that Morgan could not.

See ya next week!

and played smart by forcing a tie and revote. That way, all hands seem to be clean!

J'Tia was not even half trying to get water to the next bucket. She was so lackadaisical! They need to get rid of her next. I think if they do that, then they can play the game, and make claim to being actual brains. That woman strikes me as someone who is spoiled, who has had everything handed to her all her life. She is no asset to the team.

She can not play this game at all. She has no drive. Maybe your theory is right, because she certainly does not want to work.
