(17,055 posts)I read the book way back when and liked it. So here's hoping.

(20,043 posts)I also read the book and saw the movie. The movie was horrible when compared to the book. Many of the movies based on Grisham's books weren't really bad, but I thought the movie The Firm was horrible.
My husband didn't read the book, loved the movie.

(17,055 posts)Hubby likes to go to bed early. So after supper clean up we are able to watch some good stuff together before his self imposed bedtime of 9pm. I have to admit that he is a very early riser though, between 4 & 4:30 am is his usual.
Then of course we also have stuff to watch on the weekends if we want. I love my DVR!

(20,043 posts)Hubby goes to bed earlier than me (9:00 like yours), and mine gets up around 4 too--OMG they're doppelgangers.
On nights there's nothing on at 8 we'll watch stuff from the DVR, Friday nights and the weekends we catch up too.
I love the DVR too. I also love the on demand feature.
I haven't watched The Firm or The Good Wife...waiting for hubby.

(28,344 posts)I decided to not watch what's going on in NH tonight, so I'm going to watch this. I was hoping maybe someone posted whether it was good or not. Guess I'm on my own to decide that.

(4,178 posts)I think it was excellent. Much better writing and acting than the average tv show.

(20,043 posts)still haven't watched. Now I can't wait, hubby may have to watch without me. LOL! We had something come up yesterday so we couldn't watch, and football today.
Friday night was spent on The Good Wife, and 2 episodes of Greys Anatomy.
So much to watch, so little time.
