Spartacus on Starz returns on the 27th...

I just started watching the first season...took 4 months to get it from the local library. It's decent, it's intriguing enough to keep me watching, although I can't say it's great and it's much too much bloody for me. Poor Andy Whitfield, he really did a good job with the role.

1. Lucy Lawless is wonderful in the show. Definitely looking forward to season 3.

I am just so sad the original actor who played Spartucus passed away. So young. I was so sad.

5. Got one more episode to get through...

It actually got better as it went along...the plot twists and turns are coming to fruition...although the loss of Andy is a big deal...he really was the anchor to that show.

7. Episode 6 and forward ....fantastic!

Not sure I'll love it as much without Andy. He was Spartacus.

It felt kind of weird watching the second season knowing that Andy had passed on.
But the whole cast is STRONG and very talented.Though I wonder where they are gonna go with it considering the end of the first season.
You think they will go back futhur in time?
