Anyone here an American Horror Story Fan? Season 4 Epi 1?

Did anyone watch last night?

Just read an article on Episode Weekly - and it looks like Murphy is dropping next season's clues into the first two episodes of this season.

And I'm totally going to GET a phobia from Clowns this season. Now I understand why they terrify some people!

That is one disturbing clown. There was a lot of unexpectedly disturbing stuff going on.

My daughter pointed out a David Bowie song in this '50s era show and asked me just how old is Bowie?

Seriously, I had a continuing series of nightmares about horrific clowns after watching. What, why, who was never explained regarding the clown, just made random appearances. Kind of like real clowns?

But *spoiler for those who didn't watch it yet*

That guy that bit the chicken's head off freaked me out! I read an E Weekly article and Murphy wanted to do the Baz Luhrman thing - music from different eras that fit the story. Which makes me think - since he has loaded all of the clues/hints into NEXT season (yeah I'm already on next season ) that maybe we'll finally get our Martians/Aliens Area 51 story.

The clowns back story is going to come up in the Halloween arc.

And forgive me - but I started calling Evan Peters Evan P8nis Hands last night!

throwing everything at you and seeing what sticks.

That Candy Striper soiree was definitely an homage to Todd Browning's classic 'Freaks' movie with scenes only imaginable but never filmable back then.

The whole Lobsterman interlude was demented. The writers apparently have no filters, whatever pops into their heads gets green lighted.

But The Clown. I ran into this on the internet: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&sqi=2&ved=0CCIQqQIwAg&url=http%3A%2F%2Fentertainthis.usatoday.com%2F2014%2F10%2F09%2Famerican-horror-story-freak-show-scary-clown%2F&ei=Efs2VLv8Oca6ggTug4HIAg&usg=AFQjCNHDIr6xPiX7FAvPpYJr3ITGf_T30g

The throw everything at the wall and see what sticks? I looooove it!

I can't believe his lack of filter included a freak show orgy.

Entire new meaning to "getting your freak on!"

I was disappointed by last season, though it was so much fun seeing places in NOLA that I knew. The second season was best, in my opinion. The show really goes to new heights in depravity and it is very interesting.

I liked the camp and glam factor of last season. Murder House will always be my favorite over arching story arc (for now) but the look and feel and filming (lots of fish eye lenses) of last season? Me likey.

Clown camp was held at our University during the summer and all the clowns came from all over the US to get training??? in what I don't know, face painting, big shoe walking, I don't know, but was getting off an elevator in the building where I worked and d*mn if this clown on a unicycle didn't practically kill me as he's flying by the door on the floor where I'm getting off. D*mn. Hate clowns......and the clown in Horror Story is just as creepy as a clown can get.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/mysterious-clowns-terrorizing-california-city/story?id=26157014

It's like a scene from a horror film.

Residents of a California city are being terrorized by people dressed as clowns, some reportedly wielding machetes or baseball bats, police said.

"There's a natural phobia of clowns," Sgt. Joe Grubbs of the Bakersfield Police Department told ABC News today. "And, clearly, if someone is dressed up as a clown and holding a weapon in a threatening manner, that's going to frighten people."

There have been 20 sightings in a week, but only one clown has landed in cuffs. Bakersfield police arrested one juvenile last week for allegedly chasing other juveniles while in a clown costume. The 14-year-old suspect, who wasn't armed, told police he was participating in a hoax he had seen online

If this is some complex publicity stunt by Ryan Murphy I'm going to hop a plane and go smack him silly!
