I'm looking forward to "The Leftovers." Full-on sci-fi "Defiance" back. "Under the Dome" (not the epic SK book). "The Strain" and apocalyptic vampirism back! "The Whispers" and "Ballers" look interesting. I think "Falling Skies" and "Continuum" are both series finale, but good stories.

"True Detective" Season 2.

I liked the first season much better than the second one. I wonder where they will go with it this time around.
I thought "The Whispers" looked good too. We must have similar taste!

Also, the promos for "The Zoo" looked good. Don't remember when it premiers though.

I see "Wayward Pines" on the list. We are watching that currently, and it's pretty good.

Upcoming shows we're looking forward to are:
"Halt and Catch Fire" on AMC
"Sense8" on Netflix
"Defiance" on Syfy
"Dark Matter" on Syfy
"Tyrant" on FX
"Poldark" on PBS (Masterpiece) - not on this list
"True Detective" on HBO
"Under the Dome" on CBS (this show makes me laugh!)
"Falling Skies" on TNT
"Mr. Robot" on USA - also not on this list
"Masters of Sex" on Showtime

And from the TBA list:
"Humans" on AMC
"Westworld" on HBO
"The Leftovers" on HBO
"Fear The Walking Dead" on AMC
"Da Vinci's Demons" on Starz - not on this list

I never watched the original series.

I didn't like "Wayward Pines" at first, but I'm sticking with it for now. The premise reminded me of "Under the Dome".

You mentioned some that I hadn't heard of. Thanks!

... but I don't have Netflix so wont' see it right away.

I think Doctor Who will be back in August, that's the one I'm really looking forward to!

I've been looking at the list of fall premieres, and it is horrible. It depends on what kind of show you like, but I think the spring and summer shows beat the fall shows by a huge margin. I only saw ONE new show on the list for this fall that wasn't just derivative crap. They are all the same. They're either a medical drama, a crime drama, a super-hero thing, or a dorky sitcom. The ONE original new show I've noticed was on FX.

That's the only thing I saw that seemed like something different from the rest.
