Karrin was ahead by 8 points when

I went to bed last night. I wake up to learn the Kari was now leading by the slimmest of margins. 14 counties going for Kari (sp) and one county is leaning Karrin. Karrin could win with just the votes of Maricopa county and the other counties voices are like they did not count.

The reason I am sharing is because for some reason I am agitated that one county has such an impact. I take hope that this is a GOP primary. Pima will come through and the GOP will lose come November, imho, when the general election is held.

Those were counted after. Robson’s voted by mail. It’s the exact same thing that happens in every AZ election. There’s still drop offs yesterday to be counted. I think those will probably go to Lake.
I’m just surprised because of the large swing, and all the other MAGA votes being decided earlier.

then hopefully the Dem candidate can skim off the more sensible repukes, but after oranganus? that is a scary bet.

Of course it's going to have a huge impact on voting results. The votes in the rest of the state count, but there aren't very many of them. There's no point in getting agitated. It's simple numbers. Perhaps you should be happy that each county has an equal say in an election outcome, regardless of population.

The reason people rail against the Electoral College is that it gives less populous states far too much power. Surely you don't want that on a state level, do you?
