I had a call about this, know her and the family. Did a quick circle of our place as she and her daughters used to hunt here.
I can't believe the fucking border patrol hasn't found her, they are everywhere.
COCHISE COUNTY - An 86-year old woman is missing from the St. David area in Cochise County.
On Sunday, Nov.24, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Cochise County Sheriff's Office got a call that Mary Black had taken the keys to a 1991 Ford Explorer and left a residence. The woman who called said her mother has dementia and has not driven in ten years.
Deputies arrived at the home and were were told that Ms. Black frequently went to the vehicle and sat inside without attempting to leave the area. On one other occasion, Ms. Black did take the vehicle and was located a short distance away in the parking lot of a convenience store.
Ms. Black is not taking medication and she was last seen wearing a short sleeve shirt and pants and her hair was disheveled. Ms. Black is a white female, approximately 5'9", weighing between 125-140 pounds, appearing frail, with grey hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her leaving the residence in St David, Ms. Black did not have any personal property with her.
She has been entered into the National Crime Information Database as a Missing and Endangered Person along with the 1991 white Ford Explorer with Arizona license plates 092-CLS.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public assistance to help locate Mary Black so we can get her home safely. Anyone with information related to Ms. Black or her whereabouts is asked to contact the Cochise County Sheriff's Office at 432-9500 or by calling 9-1-1.

That's quite some distance - almost 100 miles.

86-year-old Mary Black, missing from her St. David home for the past 13 days,
has been found deceased.
Today, Cochise County Sheriffs Office Search and Rescue members, along with
Pinal County Search and Rescue and Pima County Search and Rescue teams,
deployed in the area where the vehicle was located last Saturday, south of
Arizona City, said CCSO Spokeswoman Carol Capas.
The Search Teams were organized and, using canines, worked the area from the
vehicle out and discovered the woman's body in a brushy area, about one mile southwest, she said.
Black will be transported to the Pima County Medical Examiners Office for the
completion of an autopsy, Capas said.

(55,007 posts)not sure I can do another funeral already. Poor Mary. She was a unique old gal. My best memory of her was the year she and her daughter were tracking deer up on the mountain behind the house (where all the towers are) and came down to the house to say hello. They were hunting on horseback.
Not many get out of their vehicles these days. Those ladies were doing it with real skill, in my opinion.
