The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
south central Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 730 PM MST

* at 659 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was along Interstate 10 near Red Rock, moving southwest
at 25 mph.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
far northern Marana around 710 PM MST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Red
Rock.

About 4 tornadoes a year touch down in AZ on average.
