Covered California

My wife and I have a Silver plan and it isn't cheap.

While talking to our neighbors who have a physical therapy practice they said they are going to phase out accepting plans under the Covered California umbrella.
The reason they gave (and they are not conservatives) is that the payout from plans under CC are one third of those plans not in CC.

My question is; since our CC plan is not very different in premium cost over plans outside CC...where does the money go?

This for profit system is still killing us.
We need a single payer system.

to Silver from Gold. It's just going to go up again, I know it. I bought a plan directly through Kaiser.
