You can rent this Airstream for $525 a month — if you have a place to park it

http://www.sfgate.com/realestate/article/You-can-rent-this-Airstream-for-525-a-month-6535263.php

San Francisco landscape architect Andreas Stavropoulos, 35, reaped the benefits of living in his Airstream for several years by paying off student loans while living inexpensively....

He's offering up the 15-foot-long beauty equipped with a bed and a desk for rent on Craigslist for $525 a month.

In San Francisco's crazy rental market, this price is a steal for a posh pad, but there's a catch. You need a place to park it that's close to a bathroom.

And thus this becomes another story about an "only in San Francisco" rental property. Under normal circumstances, you'd pay someone to store your Airstream, but in the booming Bay Area you pay someone for the privilege of storing his trailer.

get a much cheaper RV? You can get a lot of trailer for under 20,000. Much as I would love an Airstream, of course.

and twice as long. Where you park it is up to you. If you are willing to work many places will give you free parking and hookups.
