We haven't seen much rain yet in Solano County this December. I lived on the Peninsula during the 1997 El Nino and we got very consistent rain from November through March, which took until June to completely clear out. So far, this season and that one bear little resemblence.

I was surprised, really, that we have amassed so far 136% of normal snowfall, with more to come. It's interesting to note that last December, we had received 30 inches of rain, then, in January 2015, we didn't get ONE DROP!!

We should find out pretty soon where we're headed.
