Man worried about rain prompted lockdown of 4 Riverside schools
One person reported seeing a man with a gun near Poly High in Riverside.
Another was certain he was wielding a sword.
As a result, four schools went on lockdown as students arrived Thursday morning, Dec. 15.
Riverside police and school resource officers went to the area to hunt down the threat, but they couldn't find him, Officer Ryan Railsback said.

The man was carrying not a gun, not a sword, but an umbrella, Railsback said.
