Related: About this forumHere's a California voting guide for judges - hard to find, & you don't know who you're voting for.
http://www.theleaguesf.org/voter_guidesI voted today in San Francisco, and I could only find one good resource that covered statewide judicial endorsements. Here's how they made their selections:
"If weve learned anything this past year, its that there is a conservative judicial agenda with lasting horrendous impacts. In California, there are two websites run by conservatives, Robyn Nordell's Conservative California Election Website and the Judge Voter Guide, produced by Craig Huey. They absolutely hate the judicial activism that comes from liberal judges. Go there, find out which judges they support, and then vote the opposite. By that method, here are our unofficial suggestions with help from the Vox article, "Dont Just Say Yes: How to Vote in Californias Judicial Races."
When I was looking around for judicial endorsements, I came upon the Judge Voter Guide, produced by Craig Huey. it sounded like a reasonable resource, but I wasn't sure what direction Craig Huey was coming from. I'm glad I found this resource instead.

You'll also find endorsements of other statewide candidates and ballot measures.

(17,098 posts)objection I have: I still like Dianne Feinstein over Kevin DeLeon. Feinstein, in her role as a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has been very good at exposing trump's corruption. If Democrats ever take the Senate back, she'll be in an important spot on that Committee. We also need senior members with experience to try & rebuild the government after trump and the republicans have destroyed it. She knows how it works; she'll be needed.
But, you vote for what's best in your heart. Welcome home

(68 posts)My simple method for deciding which judges should continue their appointments is to google who appointed them. If it was a democratic governor, I choose yes.

(205,148 posts)Not only do DUers keep up with the latest news, it's also very comforting to be among kindred spirits at times like this. DU has comforted me - and celebrated with me - through every election since 2004. And it's the smartest place on the internets, too - so you're in good company.
