Accept terms. If you know the address and the county officials have gotten there, it will tell you how much damage and if damaged or lost, pictures

So far everyone I know there is alive, but none of them have homes to return to

Hopefully at least one link works for anyone still in the limbo of uncertainty about their home, I feel awful if your home is in there. Partial list of what town of Paradise knows about released in the past couple hours. 668 structures listed so far of the 6000+ believed to be gone

Remember that every line is actually somebody's home, business, or place of worship. Please do what you can to help the people and animals who have nothing left and a "President" who doesn't give a damn

The list is compiled of all residences counted so far that have suffered more than 50 percent fire damage.

The Town of Paradise stressed that the list might not be 100 percent accurate, but they are choosing to release the information as soon as they can.

2. I'm starting to get a really bad feeling about the toll

Keep hearing numbers between 100 and 200 people reported missing, and seeing pictures of people who chose to stay

In one case today a reporter saw sprinklers running on a house where they hadn't been when she drove by earlier, knocked to ask why the owner stayed, and found out the owner was a man in his late 70s who never had a cell or internet, kept mostly to himself, and had no idea there had been an evacuation order. He knew power had been out a couple days but wasn't concerned; that's just something that happens once in a while. He was out of there within ten minutes once he learned how dangerous it still is

How many other self-reliant people without modern communication did the same, I can't say, but I can imagine there were others. He was incredibly lucky

3. I heard on the news that Paradise was a retirement area.

That man's story is probably fairly common in that area. I can't imagine living through that. Some people went into their pool and the problem was that the fires sucked all the oxygen out of the air and the people in the water were suffocating. What do you do then? Truly horrific. The fake prez should have to experience that before he tweets some BS in the future during an emergency.

4. A lot of the population

Next town uphill, Magalia, was originally pitched in Southern California as a retirement community where you backed your mobile home in and settled down. The developers neglected to actually make it a 65 and over community but still a lot of retirees. The ridge is outside Chico and you had a lot of families there, small town to raise children in and work in Chico

5. Some old family friends were living in Paradise

Cannot find anything about them.

The man was in his 90's and I believe his son was living with him.

7. No sign of them or the house

This is not looking very good at all.

They lived next door to me when I was a little kid (1-6 years old).

Nice people! Too nice for the likes of such a horrific tragedy!
