Has anyone received a voter pamphlet?

I checked my registration again -it's okay. But I think I heard someone got a voter pamphlet. Is that true? I guess it doesn't matter. As soon as I get my ballot, I'll fill it out and send it back the next day.

I can't wait to vote!

from Alameda County. It's not just propositions; it has all the candidates, too.

Nothing in the mail yet. I need to read up on the propositions. The ads are ridiculous.

(I'm in Santa Barbara County, if that's relevant). Also signed up for notifications on ballot status via text/email from Ballottrax. Ballots should arrive in the post by around 3 October; once I have mine I'm planning on hand-delivering it to a drop box at the local library.

I got my state and local (Santa Clara county) ones yesterday.

It does matter: besides president, we have Congress, state senate, state assembly, the state propositions, county props, local props, city council, city school board, county school board and at least one judge on the ballot. Those are important, too (and judging by the yard signs, city council is the Big One!)
