"A Place at the Table" is a powerful film dispels the myths about who's food insecure in our country. It also looks at the reasons that hunger exists in a land of such plenty, and the possible solutions to end it for good.
This film is especially timely, given that Fresno was recently ranked fifth in the nation for food insecurity. A post-film discussion will be led by Brandie Banks-Bey of the Central California Regional Obesity Prevention Project (CCROPP), Tom Matott of Fresno Metro Ministry, and Andy Sousa of the Community Food Bank.
