Did we lose a DU'er in San Jose in December?

I lost an auntie who I now find out was a very committed Democrat who moved there from here in the 60's. We never spoke of such things…one of those family kapus.

If any of you knew her, I'd love to know that, and if she was one of us, I'd like to know that too, very much.

Thanks all, aloha.

Maybe she was more of a reader, if she was a DU member at all.

You posted in Hawaii group, yeah?

Last trip in November included a visit to one of your elementary schools and all the kids wrote thank you cards and the teacher bound them up into a book.

Highlight of the year, truly!

I was first on a list for another visit to five events on two islands for early March, but had a conflict, I expect to be back this year anyway.

Mahalo!

She was a Miss Hawaii in the 60's…but she was more of a city girl.
